Accounting & Tax Manager


  • Coordinates training programs with the VP of Finance & Accounting for new staff
  • Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
  • Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
  • Oversees/supervises by managing team members, delegating duties, and overseeing day-to-day operations as well as various accounting and tax operations
  • Identify legal tax savings, mitigate tax risk, and recommend ways to improve profits
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate developments related to local tax legislation and legal obligations, including changes in tax practices, policies, procedures or changes in business operations
  • Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax law
  • Assist in financial audits and general ledger preparation
  • Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
  • Complete end-of-month close procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related (must have)
  • 9+ years of working experience in accounting work experience (must have)
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Auditing
  • Sound understanding of accounting, tax, and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Solid knowledge of regulations and guidelines and drive forward best practices as well as being proactive in implementing changes (as appropriate)
  • Effective planning and problem-solving skills and issue-resolution capabilities
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities: manage team, delegate responsibilities effectively, build a positive and productive department culture, mentor team members 
  • Sense of ownership and pride in personal and team performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Proficient in English
